BMK Americas is looking for Production Crew Members and Machine Operators for our Welcome, NC location. Production Crew and Machine Operators are responsible for performing tasks and duties pertaining to the manufacturing and processing of treated paper.

Shift: Full time 12 hour shifts from 6am-6pm and 6pm to 6am

Position Requirements:

• 1-2 Year of machine operation, manufacturing or forklift experience preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to stand, bend and routinely step up and down
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn

Join DDAC's apprenticeship program and enjoy a new job, receive an Associate’s Degree, and two Journeyman certificates while working fulltime. An apprenticeship is a program that trains an individual to become a skilled tradesman in a particular field through on-the-job training and supervision of a trade professional. In addition to the hands-on technical work, the apprentice receives classroom instruction to learn the theoretical background

Who is an Apprentice ?

Any individual who is 18 years of age, who holds a high school diploma or the equivalent and who is eligible to work in the USA. If accepted by the facility he/she becomes a full-time employee at the facility.

Are the apprentices paid ?

Apprentices are paid the rate set by the DDAC.

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will have a unique opportunity to make a significant and meaningful contribution to the success of BMK Americas and its customers by working directly with manufacturing associates to assure good quality is being produced and documentation is complete, collect and maintain all sample retains, board press-ups and completed quality documentation from all lines and performing daily quality audits and report any non-compliance issues.

Qualified Candidates Should Possess:

• High School Diploma, Degree in Chemistry or related field preferred
• In leu of a degree, 1-3 years of related experience required, no experience required if recent graduate
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills (record keeping, time management, follow up, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail and sense of urgency, ability to prioritize with an emphasis on quality of work
• Strong computer skills including MS Office, Email Platforms and Data Entry
